Autonomous self driving motorcycle anyone?

Well we’ve written about self driving cars quite a lot and had a very mixed reaction from you, our worthy readers, so how do you feel about a self driving motorcycle?
It first appeared a couple of years ago, designed by graduate engineer Stefan Hans and demonstrated to the press at Miramas in the south of France. The demo motorcycle takes itself for a ride along a twisty test track, accelerates and slows down to stop – all without any input from an on board rider.
Obviously this is food for thought – would you feel safe on board a bike which was responsible for the driving itself? Can you see a use for this tech – like the Lone Ranger’s Silver – whistle and Bikey will come to you, or do you think what’s the point of a motorcycle driving itself, the world’s gone mad?
